ProtonCare®
ProtonCare was formed in 2004 to specialize in the design, development, funding, and operation of particle therapy treatment centers for cancer and other diseases, with the first treatment priority utilizing best-in-class proton therapy technologies, equipment and professionals. ProtonCare has developed unique financing structures and funding sources for the development of new particle therapy centers and high-volume, software-driven state-of-the-art operations. In conjunction with its clinical partners, ProtonCare  provides patients with access to the latest particle therapy and diagnostic imaging technology.
 
PARTNERS IN CANCER THERAPY
For each proton therapy center to be developed, ProtonCare establishes local clinical partnerships with academic medical centers, integrated delivery systems, governments and local communities. With a collaborative effort, ProtonCare will then design, develop, operate and staff particle therapy centers. In conjunction with its partners, subsidiaries and operating companies ProtonCare will provide the following services to the global proton therapy marketplace:

  2. funding
  3. engineering

  5. operations

  7. billing, medical records and receivables processing

FINANCING PROTON THERAPY CENTERS
ProtonCare will arrange the capital required for the development of particle therapy centers so that the capital investment for a medical center is the lowest in the industry. ProtonCare will develop the following:
  1. financial models and projections
  2. financing feasibility and due diligence information
  3. marketing plan
  4. manage the financing process for the funding of the particle therapy center with funding sources arranged by ProtonCare 
ProtonCare with the clinical partner will arrange local capital, which is an essential ingredient for a successful center, by developing a capitalization plan involving the local community and by executing the capital formation plan with its local clinical partner.
 
OPERATIONAL AND ECONOMIC BENEFITS
With its clinical partner ProtonCare will operate the proton therapy center with maximum efficiency, recognizing the substantial capital investment required for a particle therapy center. Using advanced medical and process control techniques, ProtonCare  will strive for maximum safe throughput for the treatment process. CLINICAL PARTNERSHIPS
The clinical partner of ProtonCare , a healthcare system or national health service, shall at all times maintain the final control over proton therapy center faculty selection, patient treatment planning, case and patient management, clinical protocols for treatment and clinical outcomes. ProtonCare  will provide the information systems to intimately tie the proton therapy center to the medical campus using state-of-the-art telecommunications and database technology.
